This entry is going to make me sound omega lame but whatever

So nothing about these photos is really new or interesting, but it's been a while so why not?

I bought this blouse at Anthropologie in New York last October. I seriously went in to get a hat (it was cold and VV insisted that I get one) and somehow walked out with about $300 worth of merchandise. Ridiculous. That store is a money sucker.

Anyway, VV and I were watching The Fashion Show, which is Bravo's sad replacement for Project Runway (Kelly Rowland needs to get auf'd fo serious) and they had this fashion trivia mini-challenge for the designers at the beginning of the show. So one of the questions that was asked was who Christian Dior's successor was after his death and before they'd even read off the options VV was like "YSL" and I was like "I dunno" AND THE CORRECT ANSWER WAS YVES SAINT LAURENT and I was like "HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT???" and he told me that when we were at Anthropologie in New York and I was trying on about half the store in the fitting room, he ended up reading most of one of the books in the fitting room waiting area and that book happened to be on the history of fashion. And now he knows more about high fashion than I do apparently. Awesome.

Errrr YEAH

I've been really crappy about updating. In fact, the last time I updated was an automated update that I created maybe three months ago (and didn't even notice until now).

So...

- On Saturday I totally party-fouled at a wedding reception. It was my first glass of wine and I spilled half of it all over the bar before I'd even gotten a chance to take a sip.
- On Sunday I got to see April!

---

This morning VV was asking me about the song Gold Digger and I was like "It's from around 2005...I think it came out around the same time as Ray." and there was a brief pause and I was like "RAY THE MOVIE I MEANT THE MOVIE." and VV just laughed at me. Because we do know a Ray. Ahem.

Anyway. Happy Monday errone. Better updates coming up later.

Schooolgirl

I've been obsessed with planning a trip to Hawaii early next year. I'm planning on dragging VV with me since he's never been. He doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm but I'm lure him in with promises of chili rice.

Oh, and I totally woke up with a gross pimple this morning. I blame it on me being hormonal, though. I guess there's nothing that's going to stop my PMS breakouts. Except maybe menopause.

Long time no blog (and happy birthday Damon!)

So a long time ago on Father's Day I greeted my then-boyfriend by putting his hand on my stomach and saying "Happy father's day" and he got this horrified look on his face and then after realizing I was messing with him he kind of flipped out a bit yelling "DON'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT" and it was all really funny because we weren't even sleeping together. So I tried the same thing with VV last night when I got home on Sunday. He was already sleeping but sort of woke up when I climbed into bed, so I repeated the whole schtick and put his hand on my stomach and said "Happy father's day" and he just said "Happy father's day!" and snuggled up next to me. I tried it again, this time placing his hand square on my stomach and said "I said HAPPY FATHER'S DAY" to which he responded by rolling onto his stomach and going to sleep.

I've been using the oil cleansing method for the past week or so and I think it actually does kind of work. Since I've started using it, I've grown two bad pimples. One on my scalp and one on the inside of my nose (WTF). It's like they all ran for cover to escape my jojoba/castor oil concoction.

Anyway, happy dad's day and happy birthday to Damon, who will always be older than me :D

WELCOME TO MY HEAD, BITCHES

Flickring takes up a lot of time and energy that would otherwise be allocated towards blogging. Hot damn.

---

Anyway, I think I totally creeped out one of VV's neighbors yesterday. I stopped my car at a three-way intersection and kind of stared for a while at the curb ahead of me, looking to see if there were any parking spaces available. After a few seconds I noticed a guy that was crossing the street and carrying his kid had stopped just short of the curb to stare at me, probably thinking I had stopped in the middle of the street to stare at him (which I was NOT doing) and now he probably thinks I'm some creepy stalker (which maybe I am but I prefer to do all of my stalking on the internet and not in the middle of the street (unless I'm using the internet in the middle of the street. Which I wasn't) thankyouverymuch) and I hope I don't run into him again but I probably will. CRAP.

---

So there was this song I liked but could not find the name or artist of for the longest time. My usual MO for this is to remember a handful of lyrics and google them, but I couldn't understand a goddamn thing they were saying so that didn't work. So last summer I sat myself down and went to YouTube and skimmed through every 90's dance mix I could find until I found one with a snippet of the song I was looking for. I then read through all the comments until I found one that identified the song and then cross-checked it by looking for that song on YouTube AND I TOTALLY DID IT! Even VV was impressed.

Less that one year later Pitbull samples it in Hotel Room Service, which means that if I'd waited one year all I'd have to do is go to the Hotel Room Service wiki page and BAM there it be. DAMMIT.

Anyway, some lady called into a radio station yesterday evening asking "LIKE OMG WHAT IS THAT SONG THEY USE IN THAT PITBULL SONG?!?" and I was like "DAMN LADY HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF THE INTERNETS" cause seriously you don't have to call into a radio station to figure that shit out.

---

It took me a while to understand the concept of wiping "back to front" vs "front to back" because it took me a while to understand the concept of someone using using just one wad of toilet paper to do their business. Yes, I use a LOT of toilet paper. My ass is a tree-killer.

---

I totally overuse the word awesome. And totally.
