CDs and sexy pizza

There is something strangely comforting about putting a store-bought CD into an actual CD player (like a stereo) in order to listen to it as opposed to ripping it and listening to mp3s on a computer. I don't know why? Perhaps it just reminds me of the good old days (which ironically were not that good...and aren't even that old for that matter).

I wonder if old people feel the same way abut vinyl :)

On another note I want to go here because wouldn't it be neat to go to a pizza place and order a latin lover?

Too bad it's so far away :(

The Universal Hanging Together of All Things

So a good friend of a good friend made a short film that is actually pretty good :) Anyway, it's up for viewing and rating right now and if he wins he can get his movie screened by Fox. Soooo take a break from work/studying (it's only 6 minutes and 50 seconds), log into your gmail, watch the short, and rate it :)

In other news, yesterday I had a milkshake at Stricklands. Sooo good but sooo bad =\ I usually get their ice cream sodas (can't find them anywhere else!) but yesterday was milkshake monday = small and medium milkshakes half off (!)

because i have a bad memory and it's only getting worse

tuesday: caffe panini is quite delicious. i had a salmon panini and it was yum. i took some of the korean coworker's pasta (salmon fettuccini or something?) and the virginian coworker's lamb and both were delicious.

wednesday: got chocolate at chuao! so far i like the tiramisu and the wild truffle.

thursday: watched city of lost children on dvd. it was totally bizarre yet totally cute. the actress who played the little girl miette is probably totally gorgeous now (the film was made in 95')

INSANE SATURDAY

So this weekend has been a whirlwind...especially Saturday :) I have a ton of pictures from the weekend but I'm only going to post a few from the 16th.

Hammer Reception

Went to UCLA's Hammer to check out Christine's exhibit and absorb her artistic awesomeness. Her piece was freaking beautiful and you must must must see it in person.

And the hor d'eourves were omega tasty :D

yesterday i ate peanuts and watched a movie. the day before i went shopping. the day before i went to nishi and got slightly sunburned after sitting outside for an extended amount of time. the day before i went shopping, went for thai food, sort of baked, and watched a korean movie, the day before i hung out with le bf and bought choux creme from beard papa.

and today i'm going to have dinner with someone lame!

that should about cover it.
