Saturday: Korean food and noraebang in K-town. Got back to my apartment after 4 and took a shower which means that I didn't get to bed until well after 4:30 which was not good because...

Sunday: ...I woke up at about 7:45am which was early but not early enough because I had meant to leave my apartment at 8. Left at about 8:20 instead and picked up Leanne so we could head out to Camarillo for shopping and eating. Needless to say I was completely wiped out by the time I got back home Sunday night.

And here I am now. I am here now.

We had a tasty dinner at Lucca and an interesting dessert (that he liked to say out loud) that ran something along the lines of seriously good banana cake hazelnut truffle tower with banana creme brulee and whipped cream. It was seriously good, but they lied about the creme brulee. It was more like bruleed banana slices.

And that is all.

delicious chocolates that april brought back from vegas...i can feel my waist thickening as i type

I was looking back on some of my archives and realized that I don't post nearly as much anymore...and what I do post is a lot less...interesting. So there's been a decline in both quantity and quality. Not to say that my old posts were particularly fascinating, but they were certainly a lot better than the crap I post now.

What happened? Chalk it up to a job I can't really talk about, lack of a relationship, and a shift in readership. Back in college I had school stresses (lots of posts on those), a tumultuous 2.5 year relationship with someone who did not read my blog (that is, until we went on a break and he panicked), and a job that left me sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time with nothing to do but check out computers and check out videos.

Oddly enough, even though I'm clearly not as compelled to blog as I was a few years ago, I haven't seriously considered shutting down this blog. Seven years of blogging (almost exactly...and don't get on my case about my math being screwed up I have a year's worth of archives from 2000-2001 tucked away somewhere) and I don't think I'm quite sick of it yet.

I don't know what I've been rambling on about for the past few paragraphs. I'm going to go have some (more) wine and watch a dvd. And fold laundry.

the last friday the thirteenth i can (sort of) remember involved some friends and a club and a drink called a zombie that totally mushed my brain for the rest of the night. good times yo.
