June 12, 2005 The Final Hours (no pun intended) Taking yet another break from studying. Am thinking of just leaving and getting the cup of coffee that I so desperately need but I think I'm going to brave yet another hour in this terrible library and try to learn all of the algorithms, running times, formulas, and definitions that I let fly right over my head during the past ten weeks. There was an earthquake this morning, did you feel it? It woke me up about 30-40 minutes before my alarm was supposed to go off. I was still half-asleep when it happened, so I initially thought that it was really traces of whatever dream I was extracting myself out of mixed with my pounding heart, which was the one thing I remember distinctly once I was fully awake. When I got to my Dharma school class, however, the other teacher's aide asked if I had felt the earthquake. Not my imagination after all. In 36 hours, this self-created hell will be over. This time I have no excuse for my misery save my own laziness and lack of motivation. Am going to stop typing and hit publish before I let my procrastination get the best of me. June 06, 2005 absolutely cannot wait for this workday to end. i cannot focus to save my life and all i've been doing is staring at the screen and checking my email compulsively simply because i can't concentrate. granted, this is one of my short days (three hours of work) and i took lunch with my coworkers (something i often don't do on days as short as this) but it still feels like an eternity ;P mondays. half an hour left. went to irvine improv yesterday night with some 45cent babes, the dd, and a few others to see pablo francisco. he got in a car accident or something so he never showed. instead, we got a free 1 1/2-2 hour show with four other comics. good deal. went to d&b's happy hour afterward. lefty and i got wine instead of the usual cocktails (well, she got a shooter too but whatever) pablo is okay, by the way. i'm not that much of a heartless bitch. weekend was interesting. i have photos. Weekend Somewhat late because I haven't been online in a while... happy 24th birthday :D. Among other things... Not feeling the whole class/work bit today but eh...nothing I can really do about that. Actually I could skip class but that wouldn't be good...
